M. B. Countryman, a resident of Elk County, Kansas, died testate March 25, 1964. His widow, Marie Countryman, to whom we shall hereafter refer either by name or as plaintiff, filed a petition for allowance of demand against her husband’s estate. The executors answered, denying Marie’s claim in general and cross claiming for certain sums alleged to be due the estate.
