It appears from the petition in this case that on the 2d day of March, 1899, the defendant executed and delivered to the plaintiff a policy of insurance wherein defendaht, in consideration of $45 paid to it by the plaintiff, insured the plaintiff for five years from said date, to wit, until March 2, 1904, against loss or damage by fire, to the amount of $i,200 on plaintiff’s three-story brick, metal-roof building, situated at 116 on the south side of Main street, between First and Second streets, in Louisville, Ky., and its additions and…
