Pursuant to CPLR 2304, defendant Ronald Crean moves to quash a “trial” subpoena duces tecum calling for production of certain books and financial records pertaining to defendant’s former law practice.1

By way of background, a Grand Jury subpoena duces tecum dated June 23, 1982, calling for production of similar, although not the identical records sought here, was previously served on Mr. Crean, prior to his indictment herein.
