Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for King county, Frater, J., entered January 25, 1915, upon the verdict of a jury rendered in favor of the plaintiff, in an action on contract.

The plaintiff, Abe Greenbaum, seeks recovery fr.om the defendant, Leopold M. Stern, upon an alleged promise made by the defendant to the plaintiff to pay a debt due plaintiff from his brother, Albert Greenbaum, the promise being a part of a verbal contract to which all three were parties. Trial before the court and a jury resulted in a verdict and judgment in favor of the plaintiff, from which the defendant has appealed.
