OPINION AND ORDER REGARDING DEFENDANTS’ MOTIONS FOR DIRECTED VERDICT/JUDGMENT AS A MATTER OF LAW

I. INTRODUCTION

This matter is presently before the Court on the Motion of Defendants Capuchin Province, St. Lawrence Seminary, Lloyd Thiel, Kevin Hoelscher, Myron Kowalsky, Werner Wolf and Ron Smith (the “non-abuser Defendants”) for Judgment as a Matter of Law pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.Pro. 50 and, on the separate “Motion for Directed Verdict” 1 filed by individual Defendant Jim Wolf.
