This action was brought by the administratrix of the estate of Martin Raolaslovic to recover damages for his death. Raolaslovic came to his death through drowning in the waters of New York harbor. It is claimed that he was drowned through the negligence of his employer, the defendant, the New York Central Railroad Company, or its agents and servants. After a trial of the issues before a jury a verdict awarding damages to the plaintiff was returned.
