STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Joel Stoffel appeals the trial court's post-judgment order denying his motion to compel payment of an alleged surplus following a mortgage foreclosure and sheriffs sale. Stoffel claims he is entitled to recover the difference between the face amount of the judgment and the amount bid at the sheriff's sale. Stoffel presents three issues for review, which we consolidate and restate as:
