This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the defendant, Edward S. McCall, as an habitual criminal. The judgment, entered in the Union County Court in December 1952, was affirmed by the Superior Court, Appellate Division, on a divided vote. 27 N. J. Super. 157. The defendant filed an appeal as of right to this court. N. J. Const. 1947, Art. VI, Sec. V, par. 1, clause (b); R. R. 1:2 — 1 (6).
