*278{¶ 1} The state of Ohio appeals from a judgment of the Sixth District Court of Appeals reversing the conviction of Thomas Caine White — a former Ottawa Hills police officer — for felonious assault with a firearm specification arising from his shooting of Michael McCloskey Jr. during a traffic stop.
