The plaintiff alleges that, on September 19, 1914, she was being carried as a passenger on one of defendant's street cars, which stopped at the corner of East Thirtieth and Walnut Streets for her to alight, and that, as she was in the act of leaving the car, and in the exercise of due care on her part, the car was started without any warning or signal thereof to her, jerking and dragging her to a considerable distance, and bruising and wrenching her person and causing her great pain and serious bodily injury.
