Appellant sued to secure a divorce from his wife, the appellee, on the ground of three years’ voluntary abandonment, without cause or provocation on his part. Appellee answered' by a general denial, and further that, in the event that a divorce was granted, she would accept certain property as her portion of the estate as offered by appellant. The court denied the divorce. The only evidence offered in this case came from appellant, who was seeking a divorce from his wife, and he disclosed, on cross-examination by the court, that his wife was an excellent Christian woman, who had- been…
