This accelerated appeal challenges the trial court’s denial of both traditional and no-evidence motions for summary judgment in a defamation action against media defendants. The defamation action arose out of a story aired during two news broadcasts. The appellants contend that the trial court erred in denying their no-evidence motion for summary judgment because no evidence was produced that the statements were false or were made negligently or with actual malice.
