This suit was instituted by H. B. Neal, plaintiff in error, against the San Antonio Water Supply Company, defendant in error, to recover the sum of $25,000 for personal injuries sustained by his wife; also for $305, expenses incurred for physicians, nurses, drugs, etc. The suit is based upon injuries resulting from a fall, caused by a cut-off or curb cock box in the middle of the sidewalk in front of the premises at No. 251 West Theo avenue, over which she tripped and fell while walking along said sidewalk, and without any fault of hers.
