BARROW, Chief Justice.
Appellee, a tenant in a large shopping center owned by appellants, McCreless Properties, Ltd., and the two general partners thereof, G. S. McCreless and Robert E. Durr, brought this suit to recover for damages sustained as a consequence of the collapse of a portion of the roof over appellee’s store. The jury found that the collapse of the roof was a proximate result of appellant’s failure to make repairs, and that the sum of $58,800.00 would fairly and reasonably compensate appellee for its damages.
