Plaintiff, Efrain Santos, appeals from an order of the circuit court of Cook County denying his petition for habeas corpus relief brought pursuant to section 10 — 124 of the Code of Civil Procedure. 1 (HI. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 110, par. 10 — 124.) Plaintiff contends that the unreasonable and unexplained delay of more than SUa years between pronouncement and imposition of sentence warrants his release from custody. For the folio-wing reasons, we affirm the judgment of the circuit court.
