Ferdinand Clark applied for the benefit of the bankrupt law, and filed a schedule of his debts, and another of his property and rights of property. Pursuant to the latter schedule, the assignee in bankruptcy sold all Clark’s interest in the property, and rights of property, at auction, for the sum of two dollars ; Clark himself bidding at the sale, but ordering the title to be made by the assignee to his (Clark’s) sister, who relinquished to him by a formal deed on the next day.
