The plaintiff, Marjorie G. Heistand, filed a complaint for divorce on October 21, 1977. A judgment of divorce nisi for the cause of “utter desertion” was entered on September 11, 1978, in the Norfolk Probate and Family Court. This case originated with the plaintiff s complaint for contempt, filed on September 26, 1978, and for modification, filed October 10, 1978. The defendant, Peter Heistand, appeals from judgments for contempt and for modification entered in the Probate Court on October 4,1979. He appeals as well from the denial of his subsequent motion to amend these judgments.
