HADDEN, Justice.

Dr. Lee Edward Brown (“Brown”) brought suit against The University of Texas Health Center at Tyler (“UTHCT”) and three officials of UTHCT, individually, asserting that he was wrongfully terminated from his residency in its family practice program. Brown alleged causes of action based on breach of contract, tortious interference with prospective business relations, denial of procedural and substantive due process, and denial of freedom of speech.
