Action to recover the difference between the amount of remuneration received by the plaintiff as a machinist employed in *328the fire department of the city of New York, under the title of “ acting foreman of automobile machinists,” and the prevailing rate of wages for similar services in the automobile machinists’ trade from November 1,1931, to December 31,1934.
