Plaintiff brought this action on February 14, 1931, to foreclose a chattel mortgage executed and delivered to her by defendant, Margaret Thrasher, on April 19, 1928. The mortgage covered the furniture and fixtures of a rooming-house in Butte known as the Park Bloch, and secured an indebtedness of $5,500 as part of the purchase price of the furniture and fixtures. It was filed, but never renewed.
