Plaintiff, a veteran preference eligible, sues for back pay from November 25, 1957, when he was separated from his position in the U.S. Post Office, allegedly in violation of his rights under the Veterans’ Preference Act of 1944, 58 Stat. 390. He does not question the procedures invoked, but alleges the separation action was arbitrary and capricious.
