Appeal by the defendant, Ohauncey W. Walker, from a judgment of the Court of General Sessions of the Peace in and for the city and county of New York, entered on the 10th day of December, 1902, convicting him of grand larceny in the first degree, and also from an order denying his motion for a new trial and in arrest of judgment.

McLaughlin, J.: .
The defendant was convicted of the crime of grand larceny in the first degree and sentenced to State prison for an indeterminate term of not less than two nor more than three years, and he has appealed from the judgment and orders denying motions in arrest of judgment and for a new trial.
It is urged that the judgment and orders should be reversed, *558principally upon the ground that the verdict of the jury was not warranted by the evidence. After a careful examination of the record I am satisfied that at the close of the trial the evidence was not only sufficient to require the…
