After appellant’s motion to suppress his confession was denied, appellant plead guilty to capital murder. The trial court convicted him of that offense and assessed punishment at life in prison.
On appeal, appellant contended that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress the confession, which he alleged had been tainted by his unlawful arrest. Monge v. State, 276 S.W.3d 180, 183 (Tex.App.-Houston [14th Dist.] 2009). The court of appeals weighed the four Brown factors to determine whether the taint of the unlawful arrest had been attenuated.
