[¶ 1] Jay R. McLaughlin appeals from the judgments of conviction entered in the Superior Court (Somerset County, Jabar, J.) following a jury-waived trial on one count of theft by deception (Class C), 17-A M.R.S. § 354(1)(B)(4) (2008), and one count of intentionally violating environmental protection laws (Class E), 38 M.R.S. §§ 349(1), 1306(1) (2008).
