—Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (Joseph Fisch, J.), rendered November 13, 1995, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of murder in the second degree, and sentencing him to a term of 25 years to life, unanimously affirmed.

An independent review of the evidence before the jury, when viewed in the light most favorable to the People, reveals that a rational trier of fact would conclude that the elements of the crime charged were proven beyond a reasonable doubt (People v Rossey, 89 NY2d 970).
