The issue in this age and handicap discrimination case is whether the plaintiff produced sufficient evidence of pretext “to clear the summary judgment hurdle.” Blare v. Husky Injection Molding Sys. Boston, Inc., 419 Mass. 437, 441 (1995). The plaintiff, a manager in the defendant’s restaurant business, claims his discharge was in violation of State and Federal law, including G. L. c. 151B, § 4.
