Certifying the law.

The grand jury of Pike county returned an indictment against Tilda Seseo charging her with the crime of false swearing. On the trial of the case the court peremptorily instructed the jury, at the conclusion of the Commonwealth’s evidence, to find the defendant “not guilty,” and the Commonwealth has appealed, asking for a certification of the law.

On March 2, 1934, Tilda Seseo appeared before the grand jury of Pike county and testified that Anee Lowe had had sexual intercourse with her at a time when she was under 16 years of age. An…
