CLIFFORD, Justice.
Two law firms representing plaintiff Victor Blessing, one of Boston, Massachusetts, and the other of Eastport, Maine (Attorneys), appeal an order of the Superior Court, Washington County, denying their motion to withdraw as plaintiffs counsel. 1 They contend (1) that the Superior Court’s denial of their motion to withdraw falls within the “collateral order” exception to the final judgment rule, and (2) that the Superior Court abused its discretion in denying their motion to withdraw.
