| aDefendant, Antoine Johnson, appeals his conviction for second degree murder. For the reasons that follow, we affirm defendant’s conviction and sentence.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

On September 12, 2013, a Jefferson Parish Grand Jury indicted defendant, Antoine Johnson, A.K.A. “Twan,” with.the second degree murder of Aaron Roby, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant pled not guilty at his arraignment, and filed various pre-trial motions, all of which were withdrawn on August 13, 2014. On May 19, 2015, pursuant to La.
