Grennier was found guilty by a jury of the first-degree murder of a teen-age girl. On this appeal he seeks a reversal of the judgment and of the order denying him postconviction relief. He bases his request for a new trial on the ground that the confession given at the Oak Creek police department should have been excluded from evidence because the Miranda admonitions given did not explicitly advise him of the right to counsel at state expense during the interrogation.
