CRAIG, Judge.

K.S. appeals an order of the Office of Hearings and Appeals of the Department of Public Welfare (DPW), rejecting a Hearing Officer’s recommendation and denying K.S.’ request for expungement of an indicated report of child abuse maintained under the Child Protective Services Law1 implicating K.S., mother of J.S. We affirm.

*34On September 30, 1981, Northampton County Children and Youth Services (CYS) received a report of suspected child abuse of four-month old J.S. The report indicated that J.S. had sustained a laceration under the tongue and a periosteal elevation of his tibia.
