OPINION OF THE COURT

Memorandum.

The order of the Appellate Division should be affirmed.

Defendant, a registered nurse employed at the Isabella Geriatric Center in Manhattan, was convicted under Public Health Law § 12-b (2), after a bench trial, of wilfully violating a provision of the Public Health Law and regulations adopted thereunder (see, Public Health Law § 12-b [2]) in connection with the alleged abuse or mistreatment of an elderly resident (see, Public Health Law § 2803-d [7]; 10 NYCRR 81.1 [a], [b]).
