The original divorce action between the parties to the present proceedings was instituted by Douglas Bornstine against his wife, Olive Bornstine. The divorce action was heard by the Honorable Chester A. Batchelor, one of the judges of the superior court for King county. Olive Bornstine made no appearance in the above action, and after hearing evidence, the court, on December 2, 1941, entered an interlocutory decree of divorce in favor of plaintiff.
