{¶ 1} Although originally placed on our accelerated calendar, we elect, pursuant to Local Rule 12(5), to issue a full opinion in lieu of a judgment entry.

{¶ 2} The plaintiff-appellant, David Cottrell, appeals the judgment of the Paulding County Common Pleas Court, granting summary judgment in favor of the defendants-appellees, American Electric Power (“AEP”) and Asplundh Tree Expert Co.
