This appeal is from an order of the circuit court of Macon County granting issuance of a writ of mandamus ordering the Industrial Commission, acting pursuant to section 23 of the Workers’ Compensation Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 48, par. 138.23) to approve a settlement contract entered into by relator, PPG Industries, Inc., an employer, and intervenor, Daniel McNamara, its injured employee. We reverse, holding the writ to have been improperly ordered.
