Before the Court are defendant’s motion to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and plaintiff’s and defendant’s replies.
Plaintiff, BETTY LaVERNE, instituted this 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action against the State of Texas, the University of Texas System and its Chancellor, the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and its President, members of the Board of Regents, and the Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences.
