Plaintiff sued defendant railroad company for damages for personal injuries lie alleges were caused by the negligence of defendant, and in a trial by jury recovered judgment for six thousand dollars. Defendant appealed and argues that on the evidence of plaintiff the jury should have been instructed *175to return a verdict for defendant. The injury occurred early in the morning of April 22, 1907, on a public road near the village of Amazonia, the first station north of St. Joseph.
