The plaintiff, Lucio Chacon, seeks our supervisory jurisdiction to review judgment granting the Motion for summary *107judgment filed by the defendant, United Kingdom Mutual Steamship Assurance Association (hereinafter “United Kingdom”), and dismissing Mr. Chacon’s lawsuit with prejudice. The judgment was orally rendered on January 12, 2001, and a written judgment was signed on January 16, 2001.
