OPINION
COATS, Judge.
Robert M. Perry was indicted on two counts of first-degree assault and one count of attempted murder in connection with an altercation that occurred aboard a fishing vessel while the vessel was docked in Dutch Harbor. Shortly before trial was set to begin, Perry entered a no contest plea, pursuant to a plea agreement with the state, to one count of first-degree assault before Judge Donald D. Hopwood.
