Under the provisions of an act of assembly approved April 13, 1868, P. L. 1017, entitled “ An act to provide for the collection of state, county, poor and military taxes in the county of Bedford,” the treasurer of the said county has, since the passage of the act, collected the taxes therein named. An act of assembly approved the 25th day of June, A. D. 1885, P.
