The petitioner, Edward Christopher Galka, presently on parole from the Michi gan Department of Corrections, has filed a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 challenging his guilty-plea-based conviction of attempting to pass a false title to a motor vehicle.
