— In a medical malpractice action, plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Weiss-man, J.), entered February 18,1982, which denied plaintiff’s motion for leave *577to enter a default judgment against defendant Wolf Elkan (hereinafter defendant) and granted defendant’s cross motion, inter alia, for an extension of time in which to serve an answer. Order affirmed, without costs or disbursements.
