Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Kfeindler, J.), rendered February 17, 1998, convicting him of murder in the second degree (two counts), attempted murder in the second degree, kidnapping in the first degree, and kidnapping in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the law, by vacating the sentence imposed upon the convictions of attempted murder in the second degree (two counts) and kidnapping in the second degree; as so modified, the judgment is affirmed, and the matter is remitted to…
