On September 23, 1947, appellant, Floyd Lee Poole, was convicted of rape (§ 3403, Pope’s Digest), and sentenced to death,. He brings this appeal; and § 4257, Pope’s Digest, prescribes the extent of the review. There were eight objections made by the defendant in the course of the trial. We find it necessary to discuss only the one objection that necessitates a reversal.
