On January 27th, 1902, the common council of the city of Orange, by resolution, appointed the prosecutor janitor of the police station of the city for the term of three years from February 1st, 1902. A subsequent council, by resolution, declared the position to be vacant as of February 1st, 1903, and appointed another person from and Sifter that date.
