Dear Mr. Morgan:
As Riley County Counselor, you request our opinion regarding the number of signatures required on a petition seeking the recall of a local official.
Commissioners for the City of Manhattan are elected from at-large election districts. In 1997, three commissioners were elected to office, the total number of votes cast in the election being 13,785.
