This is an educational neglect proceeding commenced by the petitioner, Port Jefferson School District in November, 1983, against Robert Baer and Esther Baer, who have allegedly failed to provide their children with adequate education within the meaning of section 1012 (subd [f], par [i], cl [A]) of the Family Court Act. The petition of the school district alleges, inter alia, that since October 6, 1983, the respondent parents have brought their children Asher, age nine, and Sharisse, age six, to the Scraggy Hill Elementary School each day and dropped them…
