This was a suit brought by the plaintiff below, Luther Douglas, against the defendant, Strickland Transportation Company, Inc., for personal injuries and property damages received as a result of driving his automobile into the back of defendant’s trailer which was parked at night on the east side of Main Street in Memphis, Tennessee, on or about July 6, 1951.
