Appeal by the defendants, Jacob A. Cantor and others, .from an order of the Supreme Court, made at the New York Special Term and entered in the office of the clerk of the county of New York on the 14th day of May, 1919, as resettled by an order entered in said clerk’s office on the 2d day of June, 1919, denying defendants’ motion to quash a writ of certiorari to review a tax assessed upon real property.

The relator was the owner of two tracts of land which on the tax maps of the city of New York were divided into separate blocks and lots and each lot was separately assessed. The Greater New York charter (Laws of 1901, chap. 466, § 892, as amd. by Laws of 1911, chap. 455) prescribes from October first until November sixteenth as the time within which the tax books were to be kept open for examination and correction.
