*10201' construction-payee“taxes”° ments.ssess" *1019The plaintiff is a corporation, owning a railway, and, in connection therewith,. certain terminal facilities in the city of Des Moines. The defendant is also *1020a corporation, owning and operating a line 0f railway extending from Chicago, in the state of Illinois, to and through the city of Des Moines, and thence to Kansas City, in the state of Missouri. In the record before us, the plaintiff is spoken of as the “Des Moines Company,” and the defendant as the “Chicago Company,” and, for convenience, they will be so designated in this opinion.
